Terms
Last updated 28 October 2026
These terms are between you and Fadero Ltd ("Fadero", "we"), a company being registered in England and Wales. They cover your use of Fadero: the app at app.getfadero.com, the desktop app and this website. By creating an account you agree to them. Plain English throughout; if anything's unclear, email [email protected].
Your account
You need an account to use Fadero, and you must be 16 or over. Keep your sign-in details to yourself: you're responsible for what happens in your account. On Pro you can share a library with other DJs; the account owner is responsible for who they share it with.
Plans and billing
Free is free for up to 500 tracks. DJ and Pro are paid monthly or yearly, at the prices on our pricing page, and track packs add more tracks to a paid plan.
Payments are handled by Paddle, our reseller and merchant of record, so your purchase is from Paddle under Paddle's buyer terms, and Paddle handles billing, tax and refunds. Your first monthly DJ or Pro plan starts with a 14-day free trial. It's one trial per person and per card, whichever account it's on; if you or your card have had one before, you're charged at checkout. Yearly plans are charged at checkout, and plan changes and track packs don't have a trial. On a trial, your card is taken at checkout but nothing is charged until the trial ends; cancel before then and you're not charged at all. Unless you cancel, your plan carries on and you're charged when the trial ends. Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each month or year until you cancel. You can cancel any time from your settings: you keep every feature of your plan until the end of the period you've paid for, and then it doesn't renew. You can change your mind before then.
Founding members: the first 500 people to join DJ pay £4.99/month for as long as they stay subscribed. A founding trial holds one of those places while it runs: cancel before you're charged and the place goes to someone else; once you've paid, it's yours. If you cancel and come back later, the normal price applies.
If we change a price, we'll email you at least 30 days before it affects you, and you can cancel before it does.
Refunds
Payments aren't refunded, including for part of a month or year, so use Free or the free trial to make sure Fadero is right for you. When you start a trial, you confirm that, unless you cancel before it ends, you'll be charged and your plan carries on straight away, and that you can't then cancel for a refund. Without a trial, you ask for your plan to start as soon as you pay and confirm that you can't then cancel for a refund. If something's broken on our side and we can't fix it, tell us and we'll put it right, which may mean a refund. This doesn't affect your rights under UK consumer law: if Fadero isn't as described or doesn't work as it should, you may be entitled to a fix or money back. To ask, email [email protected] or reply to your Paddle receipt.
Track limits
Every plan has a track limit (Free 500, DJ 10,000, Pro 50,000, plus any track packs). Every track counts, including those in the Bin until it's emptied. While you're over your limit, you can't add new tracks.
- Moving to Free, or a failed renewal: your account moves to Free that day. If you're over 500 tracks, your library is paused: you can browse it, download anything and delete tracks, but you can't play, edit, export or sync until you're back within 500 or your plan is back. Nothing is removed on Free. If a renewal failed and a later attempt to take payment succeeds, your plan comes back by itself.
- Moving to a smaller paid plan: everything keeps working for 7 days. If you're still over the new limit after that, your oldest tracks beyond it are disabled: they keep all their prep and can still be downloaded, but they don't play, export or sync. They come back when you're within the limit again.
- Disabled for 90 days: a track that stays disabled for 90 days may lose its audio file. Its prep (cues, grid, tags and crates) is kept, and uploading the same file again restores it.
None of this changes anything in your DJ apps.
Your music
Your music and your prep are yours. You give us permission to store, copy and process them only to run Fadero for you: analysing tracks, keeping your DJ apps in step and making your USB sticks. You confirm you have the right to upload what you upload, and you mustn't upload anything that's illegal or that you don't have the right to use. We don't share your music with anyone, unless you share a library on Pro.
Using Fadero fairly
Don't try to break, overload or get around Fadero's limits or security, don't access other people's accounts or libraries, and don't resell Fadero. We can suspend an account that does, and we'll tell you why.
Keeping things running
We work hard to keep Fadero available and your library safe, but we can't promise it will never be unavailable or that nothing will ever go wrong. Keep your own copies of anything you can't replace. We may change or improve features over time; if we take away something important from a paid plan, we'll tell you first and you can cancel.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Otherwise, we're not liable for losses that weren't foreseeable, for business losses, or for a gig affected by something outside our control, and our total liability to you is limited to what you've paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or £100, whichever is more.
Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time from your settings. Deleting it deletes your whole library (every track, cue, crate and file), so download anything you want to keep first. If you share a library on Pro, the others need to leave it before it can be deleted. Deleting an account ends a paid plan straight away, with no refund for the rest of the period. To keep your plan to the end of the period, cancel it instead.
We can close an account that breaks these terms, with notice where we can give it.
Changes and the law
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we'll email you before it takes effect. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you can also bring a claim in your local courts.
