Master library
One library.
Every DJ app.
Bring your rekordbox, Serato DJ or Traktor library in as it is. From then on Fadero is your master copy: change something in any of them and the next sync carries it across.
Bring it in
Start from the library you have.
The desktop app brings in your rekordbox 6 or 7, Serato DJ 4 or 5, or Traktor library as it is. After that, sync keeps both libraries in step, both ways.
- Grids, cues, loops and playlists, both ways
- Your DJ app's library is backed up before every sync
rekordbox, CDJ and XDJ are trademarks of AlphaTheta Corporation; Serato DJ of Serato Audio Research; Traktor of Native Instruments; Engine DJ of inMusic Brands; VirtualDJ of Atomix Productions. Fadero isn't affiliated with any of them.
What syncs
| App | Both ways |
|---|---|
| rekordbox 6 and 7 | Track details, beatgrids, hot cues and memory cues, loops, tags and playlists |
| Serato DJ 4 and 5 | Track details, beatgrids, hot cues, saved loops, track colours and crates |
| Traktor | Track details, ratings, colours, keys, beatgrids, hot cues, loops, memory cues, playlists and folders |
Where an app has no place for something (Serato has no memory cues, ratings or tags; Traktor has no tags), Fadero keeps it and leaves the app's copy alone. Smart crates and smart lists stay with the app that made them.
Good to know: sync runs from the desktop app for Windows and Mac. Your DJ app (rekordbox, Serato DJ or Traktor) needs to be closed while it writes. Switching apps? See moving your library between DJ apps.
